Testimonials

“I like what you are doing. And I like it not just because of your ability to bring people together.. to raise funds so that more good can be done.

Not just because of your activities and programmes. But because of your very human approach to what you are doing.”

“The Majurity Trust has been a reliable and valued partner in starting the Maybank Momentum Grant. Their strong network and understanding of the non-profit sector provided us with important insights into the social needs and existing gaps.

Together, we were able to create the first-ever recyclable grant for charities in Singapore and developed a holistic ecosystem to support charity grantees with capacity building and meet their financial needs more sustainably.”

“The Masterclasses were mindblowing for us - we had no previous experience in approaching impact measurement and now have the resources and understanding of how to adopt metrics that will appeal to our future funders.”

“The Masterclass has taught us how to align ourselves to what donors and funders are looking for, and has helped us to reframe and strategise the direction of where our organisation needs to go.”

Thank you so much for all the support you have provided over the past 2 years. We really appreciate the understanding and grace extended by Majurity.

It is rare to find a funder so interested in issues on the ground, willing to listen to grantees and understand the ground situations. We really appreciate this. Thank you!

I really appreciate The Majurity's intentional approach to grant design and management which has helped channel much needed resources to where it's most needed and effective. As a grantee, I like that I can focus on doing my work better and growing my impact, instead of trying to figure out and work around the restrictions, barriers, and vested interests of other funding sources.

This comes full circle in the impact evaluation efforts, which measures, presents, and guides what good work looks like, in a reliable and understandable way. I think this is much needed in Singapore.

Family offices can also contribute substantially to society via philanthropy…We have seen many examples of this throughout history…

In Singapore, for example, we had a philanthropy organisation [sic The Majurity Trust] founded by Mr Danny Yong and the Yong Hon Kong Foundation, which launched the Singapore Strong Fund in early-2020.

They provided local community groups with resources to get their projects off the ground. With support from other families and foundations like Woh Hup and Tsao Foundation, the fund managed to reach over 300,000 beneficiaries.
